Aurora Borealis over Pembroke Castle!

It was the 10th May 2024 and I had spent the evening at a gig - "Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons" at the Queens Hall In Narberth and thought I had better take the dog for a quick stroll before falling into bed.  Imagine my surprise when my phone beeped with a message from a friend telling me they had just seen the Northern lights from their living room!?!   As seeing them lights has been on my bucket list for a while I started to look through my phone camera to see what I could see...and then spent the best part of two hours geeking out and taking lots of pictures, this is one of those:

I was even acosting people on their way home from the pub(s) to show them what I was looking at and how they could see the lights on their phones - I am sure they were too drunk to remember but I have fun thinking about their likely confusion when they looked back at their phone photos the following day!
